Our Vision (To hear the sermons that correlate with Our Vision, click on the online sermons tab and enter "vision" in the search bar at the bottom left hand corner of the sermon player): It is the vision of Searchlight Ministries to grow a family of believers by:
- Maintaining a good rapport with area churches
- Targeting new residents and non-attendees
- Tithing off a daughter church as the Holy Spirit leads.
- Requesting all new members to attend a membership class, followed by the signing of a
fellowship agreement
- Involving all members in a ministry area
- Encouraging and providing monetary support for members of the congregation involved in
mission work, both locally and in other areas
- Volunteering our services on a weekly basis throughout the area in order to build bridges with
people and model Christ's servant heart
- Worshipping:
- Sunday morning services will be seeker-friendly with expository preaching
- Our worship style will be a celebrative blending of contemporary and traditional
- Sunday evening small group meetings will consist of Bible teaching where believers learn from
each other and encourage one another in their faith walk.
